Industry Experience

Maggie J has a career spanning over 25 years. The first 10 years were spent in the industry after completing her first Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from IST in Portugal and her second MSc. degree from CTH (Chalmers Technical University) in Sweden. During this period, she worked for prestigious multinational companies in the automobile, food, and services sectors, including Volvo Cars, Nestlé (focusing on Industrial Performance and Supply Chain), and Price Waterhouse Coopers.

Coaching Experience

For the past 15 years, Maggie has been immersed in the coaching arena. Her engineering background brings a valued pragmatism to her coaching approach. Maggie is credentialed by the International Coaches Federation (ICF) with an MCC and is distinguished by the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC) with the EIA (European Individual Accreditation) Master Practitioner. Additionally, she is an accredited Master Coach Supervisor, both individually and in groups, by the Association for Coaching. She focuses on helping coaches grow and continuously improve as professionals, aiming for excellence and the highest quality standards in the profession. Maggie is also a published author of 15 books on coaching, written in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. She frequently collaborates with magazines on coaching-related topics and serves as a lecturer at Tecnico+. Her experience of living and working in 12 countries provides her with vast cultural insights that distinguish her in the coaching world.
